18-karat yellow and white gold pendant with a sapphire and a natural pearl. This superb antique jewel features an openwork design of filigree arabesques in white gold, supporting a matte gold medallion at its center depicting the Virgin Mary with a halo and the inscription 'Ave Maria' below. A sapphire is set in a millegrain bezel setting, and the antique medallion suspends a baroque natural pearl as a drop. The back of the pendant is chased with a chalice and an arabesque engraving.
