Antique shield pendant in rose gold

Pendant in rose gold, 750 thousandths, 18 carats. This voluminous antique locket is shaped like a shield and opens with a hinge at the bottom. It has 2 compartments separated by a gold-rimmed glass to hold your mementos: photos, locks of hair, small flowers or dried clovers... The front is decorated with an applied escutcheon motif in rose gold and a border that follows the contours of the pendant. The back is finely chased. It is surmounted by an openwork arabesque motif supporting the escutcheon and hoop. Pendant sold alone without its presentation chain. Height: approx. 4.2 cm, width: approx. 2.2 cm, thickness: approx. 7.6 mm. Total weight: approx. 15.1 g. Genuine antique jewelry - French work from the second half of the 19th century.
