Art nouveau religious medal yellow gold

An 18k (750°/°°) gold medal depicting the Virgin Mary in profile in a central medallion, itself set in a radiant surround. The circled medal is decorated at the top and bottom with floral motifs. French work from the Art-Nouveau period. The medal is engraved on the back "Alice 9-2-32". Presence of eagle head hallmark for 18-carat gold and traces of maker's hallmark.
