DINH VAN Necklace Pendant modernist Cordon Gris

DINH VAN - Modernist pendant in silver featuring a rounded square medallion inscribed with four similar smaller squares, all held together by a long blue/gray cord. This medallion was originally made for Cartier and marketed in the USA with the double signature. The example presented here bears only the DINH VAN signature, the company having retained the option of distributing its creations under its own name for the French market. French work signed DINH VAN and numbered 1971 for the year of creation. Crab hallmark for the silver and presence of DINH VAN's maker's hallmark.
