Cartier Must II - ref. 1810 - c. 1990 (case)
The Cartier Must II, sometimes referred to as the Must Ronde, is an unusual model in the vintage Cartier repertoire. But it's well worth the detour!
The Must II takes up the classic codes dear to the Maison: a central white dial, Roman numerals, a railroad minute grid and blued hands. Nevertheless, it is part of the Must range, known for its originality. The large, round case in gold-plated ruddy (silver) features a dial in two shades: the white center of the dial is encircled by a beige ring containing the hour-markers. Above the 6 o'clock position is a small seconds hand, a welcome detail that brings the dial to life.
This 33 mm-diameter watch is equally at home on men's or women's wrists.
Finally, its camel-colored Cartier bracelet is mounted on a gold-plated Cartier folding clasp for added comfort.
The watch comes with its original Cartier case.
