Elegant brooch in yellow gold 18K featuring a carnation flower. The center is decorated with five diamonds claw-set leaves.
The leaves are finely formed with twisted gold wires, and the petals are enamelled blue in plique-à-jour, a delicate enamelling technique that resembles stained glass, allowing light to pass through.
The enamel is discreetly missing, but in no way weakens the piece as a whole.
