Adorable barrette brooch in 18K white gold, set with three cultured pearls. The central pearl measures 4.5 mm in diameter, and the two surrounding pearls measure 3.6 mm.
Small, discreet traces of corrosion on the back of the brooch.
Pump lock system, signed "OE, SGDG", i.e. "Sans Garantie du Gouvernement". This is an old mention from the mid-19th century that was affixed to patented mechanisms; it disappeared a little before 1970.
It's fine, but not too fine either, and the pearls have a beautiful lustre and orient. There are a thousand ways in which this classic can be adapted to today's outfits!
