Antique Barrette Brooch in Gold, Diamonds and Pink Sapphires

Barrette brooch in 18k (750°/°°) gold composed of alternating pink sapphires, probably Burmese, of very beautiful color, and rose-cut diamonds. The larger sapphire is more important and measures approximately 0.5 ct; the others 0.3 ct each. Probably French work circa 1910. It would be entirely possible to transform this brooch into a necklace or bracelet.
