Old trembling brooch in gold, silver and diamonds
So-called tremeuse brooch in 18k (750°/°°) gold, silver and diamonds. Beautiful French work from the second part of the 19th century, the branches entirely paved with rose-cut diamonds and the flower, mounted on a pivot, is mobile and “trembles” hence the consecrated name of trembleuse for these brooches. Eagle's head hallmark for 18-carat gold and boar's head hallmark for silver
The brooch is completely removable and can be worn as head jewelry. The central flower can also be mounted as a brooch; as well as the two side parts. The box is complete with all the elements; the pin as well as the brooch setting for this transformation jewel.
