Art Deco gold, pearl, and diamond sleepers

18kt yellow and white gold sleeper earrings (hallmark: eagle's head) adorned with pearls (diameter: approx. 7.5 mm) mounted on an articulated setting, surmounted by old-cut diamonds (approx. 0.50 ct each) and small 8x8 cut diamonds (approx. 0.05 ct each).

Diamond clarity estimated VS to P, color estimated H to K.

French work, Circa 1930, Art Deco.

Gross weight: 5.13 g
Height: 2.80 cm
Width: 0.80 cm

Condition: slight micro-scratches and oxidation on the gold parts, very slight abrasion and natural inclusions in the diamonds, different shades of color on the diamonds and pearls, see photos.

The pearl is the only gem that can be used as is, without human intervention, which is why it is symbolically linked to the notion of purity.
Diamonds , on the other hand , require the expertise of a diamond cutter to reveal their beauty. And when we talk about the stone's purity, we are referring to assessing the presence of inclusions, formerly known as "toads."
Fall in love with these earrings that are as timeless as white as snow .
