2.45 Cts Diamond Sleepers in Gold and Platinum

Sleepers in 18kt yellow and pink gold and platinum (hallmarks: eagle's head and dog's head) adorned with an old-cut diamond weighing 1.23 Cts and one weighing 1.21 Cts, topped with rose-cut diamonds.

Diamonds accompanied by certificates from the LFG (French Gemmology Laboratory) specifying:
- 1.23 Cts, J color, VS1 clarity, low luminescence.
- 1.21 Cts, color J, clarity SI2, low luminescence.

Condition: very light micro scratches on the gold and platinum parts, natural inclusions in the diamonds, slight abrasion on the rose cut diamonds, see photos.

The diamond crystallizes between 150 and 750 km under the Earth's mantle. At this depth, the pressure is more than 50,000 times higher than atmospheric pressure. This compresses the atoms together, which gives the diamond its great hardness and brilliance.
