Earrings sleeper earrings in yellow gold 18kt (hallmark: eagle's head), set in their center with a fine pearl and an amethyst surrounded by fine pearls.

Condition: very slight micro-scratches on the gold parts, natural inclusions and slight bumps in/on the stones, slight color difference between the two amethysts, see photos.

 

Legend has it that the nymph Amethyst pursued by Dionysus, begs Artemis for help. Our ancient girl power figure turns her into rock crystal. 

The angry God pours hard wine over the crystal, giving it its crimson color.
