Ring Victorian yellow gold amethyst engraved bead

Ring Napoleon III in 18k (750°/°°) gold set with an oval amethyst enhanced by a gold vine bulb with a pearl in its center. French work from the late 19th century. Presence of an eagle head hallmark for the 18-carat gold and trace of a maker's hallmark.
