Nummus Roman coin ring
18kt rose gold ring (hallmark: owl) adorned with an ancient Roman copper coin.
The coin, a "centenionalis" or "nummus," features on the obverse a globe surmounted by three stars, resting on an altar and surrounded by the motto "Beata Tranquilitas" (Blessed Tranquility). The reverse reveals the profile of Crispus, Roman emperor of the 4th century (317-326), with a halo bearing the inscription "Crispus Nobilissimus Caesar" (Crispus Most Noble Caesar).
Handcrafted, handmade in Paris by our workshop, contemporary.
