Daisy ring in white gold with oval sapphire and diamonds

18k white gold (750/1000) daisy ring set with a 1.12-carat oval sapphire (basalt, heated) in its center, surrounded by eight excellent quality DEF VS brilliant-cut diamonds, each weighing 0.25 carats, for a total weight of approximately 2 carats. Made in the 1970s/1980s. Hallmarked with the owl mark for 18k gold and the importer's mark. The center stone has been identified by the Bellerophon laboratory.
