Toi et Moi engagement ring in 18Kt yellow gold and platinum (hallmark: eagle's head), decorated in its center with two rose-cut diamonds, arranged on either side of a pearl, probably fine, in an entourage of rose cut diamonds.
French work, Belle Époque, Circa 1900.

Finger size: 56 (diameter 17.75 / US 7.50)
Pattern height: 0.90 cm
Condition: very light micro scratches and oxidation on the gold and platinum parts, slight wear of the setting, natural inclusions in the stones, see photos.
The 18th Century had a specific taste for pearls that we associate with diamonds. We then find this enthusiasm under the Second Empire, then during the Belle Epoque .
