Ring amethyst cocktail

Ring cocktail in rose gold solid 18 carats (750 thousandths) eagle head hallmark. French jeweler's work from 1960-1970. Elongated tray with an original asymmetrical basket setting with large days. Adorned with a large cut oval French rose-colored amethyst measuring 1.9 x 9 mm in a partially closed and partially claw-set setting. The ring has a distinctive triangular shape.
