Napoleon III Bracelet in Rose Gold and Black Enamel
An oval articulated bracelet in 750/1000 (18 carat) rose gold from the Napoleon III period, featuring a black enamel decoration of delicate ivy scrolls in rose-cut diamonds and small pearls, on either side of a central briolette-cut diamond (pear with geometric facets).
In total: 28 small rose-cut diamonds + 10 half-pearls on either side of a briolette diamond measuring approximately 5 mm / 7 mm
Dimensions: 12.5 mm wide at the front and 9 mm wide at the back. Inner diameter of 5 cm / 5.5 cm. Thickness of approximately 4 mm.
Gross weight: 26.40 g
Condition: The bracelet clasp has been restored and closes very well (it opens with a fingernail on the notch). There are some very minor chips in the black enamel. Please note that this is not a new item, but an antique piece that has been restored simply for wear.
Hallmarks: several eagle head hallmarks and a French goldsmith's hallmark.
