Miraculous Virgin pendant in yellow gold and green gold

Delightful antique circular pendant medal in solid 18-carat (750 thousandths) yellow gold, stamped with a horsehead guarantee hallmark in use between 1838 and 1919 and a Master goldsmith's diamond hallmark, French work. It is centered on a finely engraved standing Miraculous Virgin with her hands outstretched. An elegant chased border, enhanced with green gold, adds a touch of sophistication. On the reverse, the medal features a large, handsome "LR" monogram accompanied by the date "May 20, 1907".
