Sapphire pearl cocktail ring in gold

Sapphire pearl cocktail ring in 18 karat (750 thousandths) yellow gold. So-called "cocktail" ring centered on a flat-bottomed pearl 9 mm in diameter surrounded by 14 natural round sapphires, of an intense blue color. The ring has a large openwork basket measuring 8 mm in height. Retro ring, circa 1940.
