An 18-karat gold pendant depicting a swallow in flight. The body is entirely pavé-set with fine pearls, and the eye is adorned with a ruby. The beadwork is exquisitely delicate, and the wings are set slightly higher than the body. Napoleon III period. Excellent condition.
